DeafBlind Services
Deafblind Services are intended for deafblind individuals who seek equal access to sight and environmental information while navigating in the world. These resources include Support Services Provider (SSP) and Orientation and Mobility (O&M) programs.
Legal Communication Access Services
Legal Auxiliary Services (LAS) provides courtroom/legally qualified sign language interpreting and Communication Access Realtime Translation (“CART”) services for the Colorado State Courts and state administrative proceedings. LAS covers all court-ordered services, including probation, mediation, and therapy/treatment.
Rural Communication Access Services
Rural Auxiliary Services (RAS) provides sign language interpreting and captioning (Communication Access Realtime Translation, or CART) services to rural areas of the state at no charge to those communities. RAS also provides training opportunities and certification testing support for auxiliary services providers who are willing to take work in rural areas of the state.
Training, Outreach, Presentations and Panels
We provide a wide variety of training, outreach, presentations, and participate in panels (TOPP). Topics are focused on serving the deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind communities and their needs for access to effective communication. We develop standardized trainings to agencies, with custom learning center resources. Contact us for training and consultation topic areas.
